It was a joy and an honor to sit down again with Brinton Woodall for his podcast, this time to talk about The Brother We Share. I had a lot of fun going behind the scenes and talking structure and process too. Brinton is an all-around awesome person, and this really was just two friends getting to catch up. Putting myself out there:
Editing is something I’ve been passionate about for 8+ years, so I’ve decided to go after it.
I’ve made a site with options for manuscript and flash/CNF editing. I’d love it if you could share with the writers in your life!
Woke up to an acceptance from AntipodeanSF! It’s a spec fic Afterglow piece called “Seeking Sounds,” about grief & love & chronic pain & carrying on. It’ll be up in March, and I’ll also be narrating it for the AntiSF Radio Show! I am super duper chuffed about this. 😊
I’m tearing up and can’t stop smiling. This is my first nomination. For anything. No matter what happens from here, this means the world to me. So thankful to Chris Talbot-Heindl and The Bitchin’ Kitsch for this.
I’m really excited/proud of this one. Here’s another piece from AFTERGLOW, one of the most important ones, tbh.
This scifi/spec fic on grief and continuing consciousness in a robotic body sets up events hundreds of years in the future.
Huge thanks to Idle Ink for homing this.
Here’s the first piece from AFTERGLOW being pubbed, and in the amazing Sledgehammer Lit! This one’s a single sentence spec fic about the exact point of collapse. There’s an audio version too, so you can also listen to me read the piece! Big thanks to J Archer Avary for having me. 😊
I can now say I’m on Literary Hub! Baby writer Nick would be losing his mind rn. ICYMI, here’s my spooky post-collapse piece that first appeared in Maudlin House, “The Things We’ll Remember.” And if you like this, I’m working on an entire novel-in-flash w/ similar vibes. Stay tuned!
Just got another acceptance on a piece from AFTERGLOW! Can’t wait to share this one with you guys. 🤘😁
